OTA (wireless) updates are designed to preserve your data. However, it's always recommended to back up your device. Manual firmware flashing will erase everything, so a backup is essential.

There are two main ways to update your Doogee U9, depending on your technical comfort level and the availability of updates.

Before starting, ensure your tablet has at least 50% battery or is plugged into a charger. Also, connect to a stable Wi-Fi network to avoid using mobile data and to ensure the download isn't interrupted.
Once the download finishes, your tablet will ask to restart. Tap . Your device will go into a loading screen (usually showing an Android robot or a progress bar). Do not press any buttons during this time. Once finished, the tablet will boot back into the home screen. Method 2: Updating via Local Update
