If you recently installed a patch or option file, the specific file EDIT.bin is likely the culprit.
Use or Modio .
Often, it is not all your data that is corrupted, but one specific file.
If you have a backup file (e.g., PES2013_EDIT01.bak or ML01.bak ), you can try restoring it. Go to the save folder. Delete the corrupted ML01 file. Rename the ML01.bak file to ML01 . 3. Run as Administrator
: Do not rely strictly on a single autosave slot. Periodically save your Master League or Become a Legend progress into two alternative slots (e.g., Slot 1 and Slot 2).
: Ensure the game has permission to write to the save folder. Run pes2013.exe as an Administrator . PlayStation 3
If the editor cannot even open the file, the corruption is structural. Skip to Method 4.
PS3 corruption usually stems from power outages or improper shutdowns while saving Restore File System: Turn off the console. Enter by holding the power button until you hear a double beep Connect your controller via USB. Option 3: Restore File System
If you are using popular patches like Smoke Patch or PESEdit, ensure you install them over a completely clean, unmodded version of PES 2013 to prevent internal database conflicts. If you(PC, PS3, or Xbox 360) Are you using any custom mods or option patches ?
If you have no backup, delete EDIT.bin . The game will regenerate a clean version upon restart, though you will lose custom transfers and edits.
: Look for files ending in .bak in your save folder. Delete the corrupted main file and remove the .bak extension from the backup to make it the active save.
If your patch uses Kitserver, navigate to your PES 2013 installation folder, open the kitserver directory, and run manager.exe . Click Detach , then click Attach again to refresh the game's hooks into your modified files.
Go to Save Data Utility , find the PES 2013 files, and delete the Edit Data file if it's causing a "trophies disabled" or loading error. Re-copying a fresh Option File from a USB usually resolves this.
