If your device bootloops after flashing only the patched boot image, you must manually flash a modified or blank vbmeta image using Fastboot to explicitly disable verification. Step 1: Set Up Your Environment

If your command terminal returns an error stating that --disable-verity is an unknown option, your computer is running an outdated version of Fastboot.
On devices with a dedicated vbmeta partition (most modern Android devices from 2018 onward), you either patch the vbmeta partition or instruct the bootloader to skip verification.
